Barbara Edwards

Barb is an illuminating and compassionate leadership coach and facilitator who engages teams to create a new story of what’s possible in their lives, their organizations, their communities and their world.  By structuring powerful learning experiences and conversations about the REAL things that teams need to address to be successful, she gives rise to inspired solutions and better decisions that lead to aligned and courageous action.

Barb brings over 20 years of experience in leadership and change management.   Her professional background includes being a Senior Consultant in leadership for the Franklin Covey Company, a faculty for leadership development for Avaya, and a consultant for Charter Oak Consulting Group. Representative clients include: TRW, Accenture, Johnson & Johnson, General Dynamics, Women Presidents’ Organization, McKinsey and Co., Parke-Davis, Young Presidents Organization and the State of Colorado.

She holds a BA in Sociology and an MA in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology, as well as a certificate in Gestalt Process. She spent two years collaborating with Scott M. Peck (from ‘The Road Less Travelled’) in his Community Development Process. She is a trained CTI coach and is educated in the Hermann brain dominance instrument, Harvard Negotiation Process approach to Conflict Resolution and Emotional Intelligence.

Barb’s style is fresh, warm and invites exploration with her focused curiosity.  She is a powerful and encouraging ally who helps teams navigate and transform the dynamics that keep them from realizing their highest visions.
